Drug gangs from Nigeria have “ready access” to around 90% of the world’s heroin. The Nigerian Mafia operates in over 80 countries and although their most profitable business is still drug trade, the financial frauds alone (that they engage into) costs the US some $1-2 billion a year. (source) That’s as much as Nigeria spends on education, yearly, for its ~200 million citizens. Mind you, this is the 7th largest (by population) tribe in the world, and yet its Mafia manages to steal as much money from the US (just one source of ‘income’) as the entire country spends on education.
